Please Donate to Luke's Force
Dear Family and Friends,
On May 1, 2011, Colin will be racing in the 10 mile Broad Street Run. While this race already has the great benefit of joining forces to help find a cure for cancer, Colin is asking for your help with another force. Colin has formed "Luke's Force".
Luke, a second grader at Highland Elementary and a good friend of Colin's, was admitted to CHOP in January. Luke underwent many tests and ultimately was diagnosed with a rare disease called "Wilson's Disease". This disease stems from a copper deficiency in Luke's system.
The outcome is that this brave 8 year old has been placed on the liver transplant list at CHOP. Luke has not been allowed outside visitors and this has been difficult for his friends to understand. “Luke’s Force” is Colin’s effort to help raise money to be given to the family. Colin is asking for sponsors in his quest to finish the Broad Street Run. Even the smallest amount will be appreciated.
Thank You!
